What surrounds me

I have spent a great deal of time lately surrounded by little hands, big hugs, and lots of love. Just some of my favorite things. Its been wonderful having my sisters and their kids around so much. I don't know how I got so lucky to see so much of them lately. I love my family and feel so blessed to have all of them in my life especially all the precious, little and big, nieces and nephews. I am so lucky!!

While watching and playing with these cuties one day, I was making lunch for all of them when Rick called me. I was talking with him and laughing about something the kids had done. After a few minutes of talking with him, He made the comment, "You are always happiest when you are surrounded by kids." That small comment hit me hard and I burst into tears. He was right and it just reminded me of the fact that I can't even think of having another one right now. I want to be able to think about it but our circumstances have been so hard for me and I have felt certain that it just isn't time yet. But I knew he was right. I am my happiest when surrounded by kids. That conflicting feelings brought me to tears. I will remain hopeful that things work out in our favor soon though and that's all I can hope for now.

These two used to hate each other but now, they love to cause all sorts of mischief together. In fact, It got awfully quiet the other day and they had gone missing. I began searching the house when I heard them in the upstairs bathroom. They had locked the door and when I finally unlocked it and opened the door, the sight I saw, I will never forget. Two fully clothed girls with their hands in the air and their little legs and feet bouncing and pattering on the bathtub floor, shouting in their loudest, cutest voices, "Ya Ya Ya!!....Ya Ya Ya!! as they danced and flapped their hands in the water that splashed on their heads. These pictures aren't of that incident but they sure brought back those memories. A couple of tornadoes are what these two are.

They also can't get enough of SHOES

The potting soil from a potted plant on the front porch. She was wearing it all over her face and this is just another example of the little tornado she is. You should've seen the front porch!

March

I like to sneak in some park play any chance I get especially if daddy comes along

This girl loves Shoes!! It was one of her first words and her biggest obsessions. She'll try on anyone's shoes and we are constantly finding shoes left everywhere around the house
 After a long day

This is probably way TMI but we had one particular night when the family was super gassy and Linc couldn't have been more funny about his reactions especially since he's the stinkiest in the family.

Its a rare thing to see this girl sitting still and this particular time, it was quite cute. She was reading to her bear, that is until mom ruined it by taking pictures which explains her running away from me.

We thought we'd get all that hair out of her face- Can you say Cindy Lou Who!

Once Linc photobombed us, we got a little camera happy

Here's a couple pictures of Rick, taking selfies. He gets points for any exercise selfies he takes. Just a little something his work does.

Some time at the park is always a good idea

So, Rick had a little accident on the way to work. It could've been worse and I'm just glad he's okay. Some one left a small boulder in the middle of the highway and since it's been dark when Rick drives to work, he didn't have time to dodge it once he saw it. It literally broke the tire in half. Never seen anything like that happen before. Thankfully, Insurance takes care of it all and Rick is fine.
Also, a huge thanks to the ladies that loaned him their running light to fix the problem. It's nice to know there's still good people around.

Occasionally, we get some time to do something fun with friends in the ward. This was a blast because Amanda and Jeff Roberts and their freakin cute kids are just SO much fun! And who doesn't like a good hike to the white sands?!
