The Longest Day!

Yesterday was such a long day, but so much fun. Elizabeth and I went shopping for her Halloween costume. We've had such a hard time deciding what to make Lizzie for HALLOWEEN! We started out with a Kitten about a month ago because she loves them and had figured out how to MEEEOOWW! It was so darling, we thought perfect! That is until her frequent meowwing turned into GGGGRRRRROOOOWWWLLLing. Since she prefers to growl and ggggrrr (so lady like, I might add) instead of meowing, we thought maybe a puppy Or considering the way she's been acting as of lately, maybe a monster would best suite her. After debating about it for some time and finding ourselves undecided, we thought lets throw a white pillow case over her head and cut some holes for the eyes, she'll be the cutest little ghost in town! But it just wasn't good enough. I mean come on, it doesn't even require that much effort. Then Rick came up with a GENIUS idea (although, I don't know why I didn't think of this) He says, Lizzie should be Pebbles from the Flintstones! Of course, she makes a good look-a-like, don't you think?

                                                                                      

                                                

So after having made the decision for Lizzie to be Pebbles. I had to decide whether to buy or make her costume. So I convinced myself to attempt to make Lizzie's costume. I told myself that if I didn't find the fabric I wanted I was buying a pillow case! Fortunately, everything worked out perfectly. I found the perfect fabric for really cheap and then I made the costume and it turned out to be extremely easy. It's so cute on her. I'm so excited for her to wear it.
