It's been nice to see Grandpa Jack and Grandma Lizzie more lately. They've come to St. George quite a bit to organize Grandma Bev's belongings. It was particularly nice this weekend. We ate out at Bishops and went for a drive to see a Lot that we have reserved to build on, and then to the splash pad and the carousel. It was loads of fun. My kids can't get enough of their grandma and grandpa.
This weekend also marks that time of year and One that I don't care much for. I turned 30! Can you believe it. I'm getting old, Haha! I say that but I actually feel really great and I look forward to all the firsts I'll have this year. Already, I have experienced my first actual Yoga class as well as my first Hot yoga class. I am working out some plans with a friend to have my very first professional massage and facial. I also hope to build our very own first house this year. Fingers crossed.
Since I'm not one to make a big fuss about my birthday, it tends to fall on my sister to try and get the family together for it. I decided to change that this year and I threw a surprise birthday party for her. Since Dylan's birthday is only a few days apart, he is usually included in it and that explains the Spider man cake. It was a blast and she didn't expect a thing.
